What about sealant around the stems to replace those nice rubber washers the original came with? This will slowly drip each time water splashes against the base. Also the threads are not the point of seal so the teflon tape is for looks only. The seal is from the end washers on the supply lines.

Great finger tight and finger loosening job, what about old one being wrench tight. Any tricks to that?

Thx for sharing this. It would seem to me that you just hand tightened all the connections. Correct?

you can use faucet wrench.. something like this: www.amazon.com/dp/B09T5XXCFR/ref=sspa_dk_detail_2?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B09T5XXCFR&pd_rd_w=0d8ou&content-id=amzn1.sym.386c274b-4bfe-4421-9052-a1a56db557ab&pf_rd_p=386c274b-4bfe-4421-9052-a1a56db557ab&pf_rd_r=MH2V6ZJ5JZW0YRJ1ANAM&pd_rd_wg=2QZGd&pd_rd_r=01451eaa-246c-4ec7-b60a-40f9794deab2&s=hi&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWxfdGhlbWF0aWM&smid=A1EVUZ0YF1PQVS

Thanks for sharing. Just purchased to install. Question if I may- is the tape needed or you just wanted to use?

Thanks.. use the teflon tape. It's so inexpensive and gives you better water seal to the hose: www.homedepot.com/p/1-2-in-x-260-in-PTFE-Thread-Seal-Tape-PTT-5/204286187?g_store=&source=shoppingads&locale=en-US&&mtc=Shopping-B-F_D25H-G-D25H-025_012_PNEUM_FAST-NA-NA-Feed-SMART-NA-NA-PneumaticFasteners_Smart&cm_mmc=Shopping-B-F_D25H-G-D25H-025_012_PNEUM_FAST-NA-NA-Feed-SMART-NA-NA-PneumaticFasteners_Smart-71700000080178040-58700006732570910-92700066574864457&gclid=Cj0KCQiAkZKNBhDiARIsAPsk0WhmzYNS1t56FId7KCM2oH1CQXb2DRHm9R-DzUUkszJ04xtXlTujEgMaAi4iEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

What tool did you use on the water line? I’m having a hard time fitting anything back there

Surprisingly I twisted it by hand. Can you a faucet hose tool similar to this: www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-Faucet-Change-Out-Tool/1002797772?cm_mmc=shp-_-c-_-prd-_-plb-_-ggl-_-PLA_PLB_208_Plumbing-Repair-_-1002797772-_-online-_-0-_-0&ds_rl=1286981&gclid=CjwKCAiA5t-OBhByEiwAhR-hm_HPpUilFKlKCIsVGXUxrLvdzO3CUwkNx9izL129cPJTZr-8omlw4hoCqBwQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
