Replacing a Utility Sink and Faucet

After almost 50 years, the utility sink faucet in my laundry room has finally ceased being watertight, so it's time for a replacement. And, even though the sink itself isn't broken (just dirty), we're tired of looking at that grimy old thing, and it's getting replaced too.

Borrow what you can. Thrift stores. eBay.

I had a certified plumber change the laundry faucet and replace the metal water pipes with some type of plastic tubing that had a joint that look like it was held together by clamps I'm in a worse position now because if that breaks water is going to squirt everywhere previously the faucet was simply leaking

Probably PEX. Nothing wrong with that, it's a good plumbing material if installed correctly.

My new sink doesn’t have holes to put the faucet in. Would someone be able to cut holes into the plastic?

You can do it with a regular wood drill bit
