Followed this guide to change my switch everything went as expected apart from the internal handle cover where there should be a lug to keep it in place had broke off previously by someone and had put silicone in place but other than that was straight forward and saved me £400 as quoted by Honda albeit using a new part as apposed to a 2nd hand part but cost me £40 instead. Thank you for posting such a clear tutorial 😃

You dont need to remove door panel take a flatblade screw drive to the front of the silver panel pop off panel and there you go

My CRV is a 2004- the window master power switch control easily pops out with a screwdriver. It literally takes 10 seconds to pop out, unplug the connector, plug in the new master power switch. That's it. No taking the door cover apart, NONE of that. I have no idea why he went through all of that rigamarole to replace that entire 4 window switch unit. I literally changed mine in 3 minutes. This whole video makes no sense to me; but then, I'm not a car guy. (This is the equivalent of when you're in need of gas, dropping your gas tank, throwing it in the back of your pick-up truck, to take it to the gas station to fill up, then coming back home & re-installing your gas tank, so now you have a full tank of gas.) I watched another youtube video that showed how to do it just by popping it out with a screwdriver. DON"T do this the hard way.

Hey, thanks for the tutorial. Im about to replace my broken switch. I just want to ask if you have the information about the window switch for Second Gen. Honda Fit/Jazz. Both of 3rd gen CR-V and the Fit/Jazz share the same individual switches size and position, but do they fit each other? Here in my place the Fit/Jazz one are way cheaper. Thanks.
