Specifically I am demonstrating this on my 2011 Mercedes ML300 which has had a very noisy latch for a few weeks. This video will also apply to ML320, ML350 and the GL series wagons.

Great video as always. Just one tip, you could have bought only the broken buttons instead of the whole assembly and keep the genuine part by replacing only the broken button. At least thats the route I followed when one of the buttons broke on the w164 that I owned.

Thanks for the feedback. It might have got lost in the editing, however I thought that I explained that I had previously replaced just one of the buttons (as per this video I made: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZmK0l6WGqtyqhac ) I agree it's super easier just to change one of the window buttons, however in this case the switch failed that locks out the rear windows from being operated and that is why I changed the whole module in this case! Only difference is color of buttons illumination at night. It will be more orange color I believe 😊
