My signal suddenly stopped working today. Your video was extremely helpful for me to understand how to disassemble the mirror. Fortunately, after spraying the wiring harness/connector generously with contact cleaner, the indicator light started working again. Thanks for creating and posting this helpful video!

Thank you for this video, the explanation to remove the mirror cover was spot on. My issue was related to the two prongs having corrosion so I used sand paper to clean the prongs and added a bit of Dielectric after cleaning. Works like brand new. Thanks again.

Good video. Top tip from my own experience... Check the connector pins first! So I took down the mirror housing and tested my new LED. It didn't work. But I happened to notice the connector pins (the blue harness plug ) in the mirror unit were bent. After I straightened them the new LED worked fine. That got me thinking that maybe the old LED wasn't even broken. Sure enough, I popped it back on and it was working fine after straightening the connector pins.😂

I just cannot find any for the CLC 180 (the orange light indicator is slightly longer). I’ve looked everywhere lol. Nuts. Says these fit but the the second indicator line looks shorter

Mine was doing the same after I knocked it. Took housing off straightened the prongs that go into the light made sure they were straight put housing back on & worked. Took a couple of goes though just make sure it’s in place properly.

Thanks for the video. I checked my 2009 CLS and it has a different mirror housing, it doesn't separate like that and is a single unit.
