How to replace old vinyl window film

I have practically the same job to do. The only difference is my 3 old window were welded in. Can't get anybody in Ireland to do the job. Everybody claims to be booked up until next year. After nearly 12 months of lock-down it's hard to believe that any work remains to be done. If I can source a reasonable quality sewing machine, I think I'd be equal to the job. Need to know what thread you are using. Also where you get your clear vinyl. Thanks for the guidance video. Really useful.
