Good, clear video and explanation. Just remember to loosen the cover on the brake fluid reservoir before pushing caliper pistons back in and check fluid level when done.

I like your video. You showed it’s not just taken disc and pads off. But the preparation is the most important. Well done

Very good video. Step by step but concise. Tips and additional comments on every part of the procedure. Clean work, as all automotive service technicians should be. Took all necessary precautions. Loved it.

Great tutorial!! Now I just have to work up the courage to attempt this replacement on my 2011 RAV4.

instead of a piece of wire holding the brake line you can use a metal tent peg once bent into a S shape works far better

I have the same problem trying to get my wheels off. I have started putting anti seize on the on the contact point on the wheel and hubs. Plus I coat the lug nut threads with it. My car is a 2013 Camry and the brake assembly is roughly the same. Good clear concise video with easy to follow instructions.

Sorry but did you put the right rotor on the left side? The ventilated strip are not facing the right direction or is it different from a brand to another
@stevenv21903 жыл бұрын
Looks like it is the correct direction after he flipped it over. I just got Hawk Talon rotors and HPS pads on the front installed on my 2018 Rav4 XLE. Rear is getting done later this week.

How many miles are on the old pads? I know you were replacing the rotors but it would be nice to know if they really needed replacing. Did you happen to check their thickness? I appreciate all the torque specs. Thanks.

Thank you so much for this video! I managed to change my brake’s pads first time. 😊. But I had problem pushing piston back in, you have to use 2 clamps, sometimes one does not work. Like in this videokzbin.info/www/bejne/pqm1ZZmcetGjoK8
