Note: In an effort to make the piston spin back into its bore easier, you can use a pick tool to gently lift the pistons dust boot away from the piston and spray a little bit of lubricant in there.....spins in so much easier. Plus, the dust boot doesn't spin with the piston. Great video.

Well done video, but I have one question: What is the purpose of opening the bleeder before compressing the piston? Won't the piston compressing just force a small amount of fluid back into the master/reservoir? Seems like an unneeded step that creates a mess. Maybe I am missing something, please help me learn if I am mistaken.

So I ask what if u can get the calliper piston to move in using a clamp and you release the pressure with. I’m doing the bleeder screw and it still doesn’t move in, so does that mean it’s seized?

Want happens if the pins aren’t lined up? Would it make the rotor feel warped when trying to stop?
