This video shows you how to replace the lock actuator so that you don’t need to purchase an entire latch assembly in your 2002-2008 Dodge Ram 1500. Power door lock systems typically use some sort of actuated motor to drive the lock mechanism. If the actuator breaks, then the door lock will no longer operate electronically.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:

I’d try the power lock/unlock before I put everything together. Just to be sure this fixes the problem. If it doesn’t you’ll need to replace the duct assembly between the door and the body. A video on that procedure would be nice.

Changed this out and it turned out to be the wires the broke over the years in between the door jamb. Oh well. Great video though.
