Pinned 📌 I appreciate this short informative DIY! One thing I did to make it easier to put the slack adjustor receiver end, is that I put it on before the string in the backside! Putting the spring on first makes it a lot harder!

Good video. When you took the drum off, the adjuster hole on the drum wasn’t aligned properly. That always drives me nuts. Toyota is nice enough to give an access hole for the adjuster. Most companies do not.

I’m changing an 04 Camry.. you didn’t show what you did with the other end of the adjuster? You were saying to clean it then it just disappeared after you put on the new spring. Easier to put on the spring before you apply the grease or else it won’t fit 🤔

Instead of using needlenose vice grips you do know there's a special tool to take those side springs off 🤔
