For the rear mount: Once everything is unbolted I dropped the jack supporting the engine completely and the old mount came right out and new one went right in. Didn’t even take two minutes. Then I jacked the engine back up to line up the holes for the center bolt. No removal of the bracket was necessary. I thought this might help someone. Thanks for the video!

Your cool headed demeanor is admirable. By the time I was done, I had cursed the Designer, the Engineering team, and all their forefathers. 3" STUDS??? for the love of God, why put studs instead of bolting it from below??? Praise the torch and pass the Never-seez.

I don't know if this is 1:1 with a 2012 Prius or not. And it hardly matters. I appreciate seeing you do this job completely and keep your cool. I haven't done it yet to our cars (3 Gen 2s and a Gen3), but it's good to know just how involved it is (the mounts look VERY similar). You did a video on the 08 Prius/Corolla front end and saved me hours of figuring out how to get the control arm bolt out lol. Ended up taking it to a great local shop instead (thinking of doing the same for the mounts). Sometimes it's not just knowing how to do it, it's being able to see someone else do it...and knowing your limits. Great work man. Thank you.

03-08 corolla matrix/vibe manual tranny here: it can come out without taking the bracket off, just requires a lot of pulling and twisting. Also helps to lower the trans a smidgen. It took me a bit but it did come out. It will end up coming out on an angle/ on its side

You DO NOT need to remove the rear bracket. You can remove and replace the mount by taking off the sway bar end link nut on both sides which will allow you to deflect the sway bar to give you just enough room to fish it out the wheel well. Saved a lot of time doing this.

If you're replacing all 4, do this one first, then the trans mount, then the front, and finally the passenger side.

Would this be the same for a 2013? Mounts look almost identical.

He didnt mention that youll have to light the new rear mount up after its sitting in place. The hole for the cross bolt wasnt lining up otherwise in my case no matter how much the engine was lifted/lowered.

It blows my mind how you don't use any anti-seize grease on those motor mount bolts I have seen so many videos a very seldom I see you guys using any kind of lubricant.

You could have lowered the subframe that will give you better access to the engine mount.

it is hard to do the job if there is no Lift Structure and Hydraulic System.

Yeah this is a "B" of a job but what i recommend is you def have to take the bracket out and take out the side and front mounts so you can lift the engine quite a bit up to get the mount out and new in.
