Thanks for the video... The test is how well is dampens. It isnt about ability to press/move, it is about the ability for it to stop quick movement. Strut seemed like it had life in it. Vibration on highway? Check tires.

I bought kyb are they suppose to be stiff or soft cuz they feel kinda soft, also do you know if the nut ontop is the same for all i dont think they shiped it for mine 😑

I jumped on the new lithium snap on tools when they first came out 7 or 8 years ago and still use them daily at work, until I borrowed the Milwaukee impact from a friend I had no idea how powerful Milwaukee s stuff is.All I can say , for the money and power output, it kills every brand out there. I love it. I slowly replacing all my snap on and makita stuff.

It's the compression rod bushings. Replace with white line poly

Have the same problem here... Replacing shocks and struts with kyb stuff since the left rear and front right are leaking. When i hit a bump in the road going below 20kmh i hear a clunk sound. When im at hwy speed the wheel kinda feels like it bounces and the steering wheel vibrates left to right slightly which makes the car not feel planted to the road. Will update if changing the strut does anything. Cheers

@@john0043 Those are your lower control arms. Look at the bushings, they are work out. You can test by lifting the front ens and wiggle wheel by hand, if there is any play then for sure. Its a common thing with 350z and g35s.

Shock end nut would not come off for me, I ended up clamping the damper rod in the vise and using a big impact with a 17mm to get it off, EX35 similar to this.

I wouldn't leave it out. Head to the auto part store and aleast put something that kinda fits if you can't find a replacement. Something is better than nothing.
