New Wheel Bearing & Seal Kit from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ib/1ASH...
If you hear a grinding or groaning noise while your vehicle is rolling, it might have a worn out wheel bearing. A worn bearing can allow the wheel to wobble, creating a host of other issues. To save yourself from more headaches down the road, replace your bearing right away. For solid rear axles, you'll need to replace the axle seal too. This video shows you how to install a new TRQ wheel bearing and axle seal on your 2000-06 GMC Yukon.

This is a great video. I had a hard time getting out the bad bearing. It came out in pieces because it had been in there for two decades in New England weather but i finally got it all out.

Awesome, it only took this guy 20 minutes. I'm new to this so I'm going to give myself half hour since I don't have a lift or any of those specialized tools.

Excellent video. My 2006 Sierra 4WD RR seal is leaking, not obvious externally yet, but brake shoes are soaked. It has rear drum brakes and posi-rear end. The video looks easy when a knowledgeable person does it.

I just don't understand why car engineers do not use bolt on hub assembly's on these cars nowadays.

I would be more careful with the dust around 9 minutes, the bearing is already in, some little bit of dust goes in. Better to clean it hard before or during removal when there are no new parts to contaminate. Steel brushes and high pressure are your friends before opening. I learned it in a more extreme case : battle tanks coming so filthy that they weren't allowed in until pressure cleaned. Then brush and so on..... And now I am the guy pressure cleaning the mechanical parts of the car to be worked on before taking it to the mechanic. Do it for the brakes to remove brake dust, it's not asbestos anymore, still not the best thing to ingest.

Nicely done video. Very informative with good angles. I’m curious. My 01 Tahoe 2wd has a mid to high pitch whirring sound about 15 mph that only happens when l’m on the throttle. Goes away once l completely lift. Replaced my rear diff fluid, which was about 6-8 oz low, but that noise is still there on acceleration or simply maintaining speed. Truck has 190k miles on it and was always well maintained. Think my problemis the bearings?

I would guess pinion bearing as best case but likely need a rebuild once gears get noisy replacement Is the only way to get rid of the sound.

Thanks for the informative videos like always! I am having an issue with my 07 Yukon xl and o am sure one of the rear bearings is shot as it makes squeaking sounds at low speed and the wheel wobbles as well. I thought this type of bearings goes only with new axle shaft. I was about to order these but they’re not available on your website. The only type available is the axle repair bearing which is a bearing and seal in one piece. What’s the difference between the one piece and the bearing and seal you used on the video? Which application is best for the one piece axle shaft repair bearings? Thanks

There’s a way easier way to pull that axle seal, small flathead screwdriver, and a hammer and fold the outside edge of it over loosen it right up and it falls out without the possibility of damaging your housing

Seals are very cheap, so if you need 4 seals order 8 of them. Cause there's always one of them that will go in wrong.
