How to replace Renault Megane 2 Turn Signal Lightbulb

Recently I discovered that my turn signal lightbulb has lost its color and sometimes it may cause problems if you have to do annual car inspection, so I decided that I will replace the lightbulb.
To do this you will primary need a light bulb - PY21W (12V-21W).
So long story shot, it wasn't 5 minutes for as everything is with Renault, at least for me, if you do it on daily bases, probably you can do it within 5 minutes, but since I never had removed the front bumper, I didnt know what to expect, so here is the video how I did it!
By the way, in the beginning I wasted approximately 20 minutes, trying to replace the indicator light by going from under the wing, but guess what it is not possible at all, because the frame and the light is too close, so there is no space to get the bulb out, even if you will get to the socket itself..
Additionally to this I needed a few tools, like screwdrivers to open the bolts and clips and T30 or you can use T25 as well to remove the light it self, that is about it, but of course the hardest part is the bumper, since it is locked in places with very robust clips and it is very likely that you might break a few of them, so be aware of this, but you might be lucky as well.

I removed the inner fender screws and plastic holders. Then I placed a led light next to the battery so that I could see the light bulb holder. Then I pushed the head of the large flat head screwdriver between the stopper in the headlight assembly and the light bulb holder and twisted. The holder moved. Then I removed the bulb and there was no way to take the holder off. I didn't try if there were enough space to remove it sideways by removing the battery first. It is definitely possible to touch the holder with one finger that way. I did the "houdini trick" mentioned in the video instead and switched the light bulb right there. I am sure the light bulb is full of grease and dust now, but it works. And before you doubt if the holder was properly stuck, I managed to break the wings of the holder before trying this trick by twisting it with long enough but too narrow pliers. Good luck! And yes, it was, of course, cold but snowing only a few flakes, so I had better conditions than in this video.

happened to me too, i had to open the front bumper twice because the turn signal wouldn't work at all, turned out the socket thing wasn't twisted properly. so annoying that it's so much hassle for just a small bulb

There is! He has shown 0:13 it that even taking off the whole plastic arch you still can"t take the bulb out.

@@danieljonsson6230 for the signal light I've done it. I could get it out but then no way to put it back. Since there is just not the space for you to do the manipulation properly. And my hands are small so can't even imagine for a guy bigger than me. It was a waste of time. Just go by the front take out the bumper and it's done cleaner and faster, in fact easy peasy. Hopefully they changed this and the next model only need you to take out 2 screws to open the headlight.

It changes nothing. If you look 0:21 at what is blocking it there nothing blocked by the battery. This is a metal structure part that can't be removed.
