How To Replace / Repair Hayward Tiger Shark QC Impeller RCX11000

I ordered a the same impeller for seemingly the same Tigershark. The screw that the replacement impeller came with is longer than the original screw and has several exposed threads once screwed in snugly. I used the original (shorter screw) for the impeller, but the entire impeller seems too large and sits a little proud. Are there different sized impellers?

So I have the sharkvac and mine won't start up at all. What would you suggest? I really love this vacuum it does a great job but it won't work anymore. Any help wpild be appreciated
