Yes!! The previous solutions assumed there wasn't a problem. There _was_ a problem, the top and bottom pieces were stuck, and you solved it.

I can't understand how Samsung can produce such great TV's but very CRAPPY remote controls. I recently purchased their 75" Q800T model. No complaints there but the remote.... smh 👎👎.
