So I rented a garage space with a lift and did this 12$/hr. Relatively simple. At the end to align the bolt I used my shoulder under the wheel assembly, and did a bit of a squat/lifted it while aligning the bolt back in. Only need about an inch to get it in.

Did my today and also faced the issue about the distance.Obviously I just put a wheel under and gently lower the jack to be able to tight the top bolts. However, there's more simple way to finish the job in case you don't have a spare jack or there are no things around to put under the knuckle.Simply tighten 15mm bolt first, then put two top bolts in but don't tight them. You won't be able to it anyway because there will be 1-2cm gap between the shock mount and the car body. Put wheel back on,lower the car and there will be enough space in the arch to tighten two top bolts.

Awesome, thanks for the tip

You should prime the new shock before putting it on, pump it 7-10 times.

Does the Coil Spring not need to be replaced? I am having this problem on my front right wheel, it just makes noise every time I go over a bump or divot. When I push down on the car it goes pretty easy too

no, as you can see in my video at the beginning when I push the car it makes noise and after I replace the coil it fully solved the problem.

3:29 you do it WRONG!! you should hold pivot with clip tool and tighten nut with flat 13. You will lose that nut in no time

Very usefull video, because of covid-19 lockdown I decided to do it on my own, it took me nearly an hour and half of a can of WD40 to remove that 15mm bolt, as it was said before she is major bitch and not giving up easily. Apart from that everything went fine, it took me maybe 15 minutes to put everything back on and I didn`t had to use 2nd jack.

You've literally done everything wrong in every part of the video. Now it's clear why the nut was lost.

You yourself don't even know what you are doing, how are you now trying to teach everybody else?

What do you mean? If you follow my video you will be able to get it done... if it’s not simplified enough for you then I recommend you take it to a shop. You can hurt yourself
