It only took me so long because the rubber boot in my socket kept sticking to the Spark Plug, I ended up guiding it how he did with a magnetic pole, and then using the socket without the boot to put the new spark plugs in. Turns out it wasn’t the Spark Plugs though and we changed the Ignition Coils there at the end of the video and it works like a charm now.

Another thing you can do is if you don't have a spark plug socket and once you get the spark plug down in there put your socket down in there and turn it counterclockwise until you feel the threads lineup and then slowly turn it clockwise this way it'll thread properly

If you don't have a torque wrench will it be fine to tighten without one
@1AAuto8 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can do it if you don't have a torque wrench. But it's really important to not over-tighten these since they're threading right into the engine. If you over tighten and break the threads, then you're gearing up to cut new threads in the top half of the engine and that's a real bummer of a job to do. So, if you can't go out and pick up a torque wrench, just be sure you're careful. Hope this helps! 1aauto.com?KZbin&CTA%20Comment&ATony 866-403-3393

I can't use my regular 5/8 long socket to reach the spark plugs. It gets stock in the coil pack cylinder, a kind of sleeve. Seems like it is too thick. Probably that's why a spark plug 5/8 socket is the best for the job.

Can anybody help please? Ik this doesn’t have anything to do with the video but I recently bought a 2005 Honda Civic ex and it ran good at first u could hear the vtec all the time but one day while driving and going to 60, my car started stuttering moving back and forth and it didn’t move up past 60 because it would almost force itself to not go further and once I found the problem it was the camshaft position sensor which I changed and didn’t see the problem no more but now my car feels like it lost power and I cant hear the vtec anymore. Anyone know anything?
