Hi Justin. Admittedly, I'm a cheap skate when it comes to the springbar tool I use so perhaps there are other guys who can elaborate much better than I about some great options to consider. I have purchased pricey ones with replaceable tips in the past and also bought a plethora of different cheap ones to find out which one feels best in my hand. Some of the really cheap ones are too short, too light, too flimsy, metal too soft, metal too brittle, etc, and nearly nothing more than a one-shot throw away piece of junk. The ones I use in my videos are budget tools but I like the size and weight and the length seems just right for my hand and technique. On any of the tools I have used, the forked end can chip or break so that is why I opted either for one with a replaceable tip or an affordable budget tool that are cheap enough to have a spare or two because either way, until someone gets the finesse part of digging in deep and grabbing the right part of the spring bar down pat, the tip can get mangled quickly. I am not recommending against any higher end, high quality tool but for me personally, I'm accustomed to this budget tool and so it is what I personally prefer. If you purchase an adapter or strap kit from me and need a tool, I am always happy to include one in the shipment upon request.

If I plan on using a one piece strap can I just buy the adapters without the 2 piece option for a bigger strap? Because the difference is 24mm for the old and 22mm for the new but both attach to the dw5600ms1 so I can use either or right?

Hi I'm a bit of a newb with these watches. I finally got around to getting my first G-Shock, and it arrived yesterday. I ordered two Bullbars from you (one black,one silver). The watch and the Bullbars all arrived at the same time,despite being from different vendors. I bought the DW-5600 like the one in the video except I bought the one with the regular LCD. No way my old eyes would ever be able to see the blackout display 😅 Anyway, my question is... What is the purpose of the Jaysandkays band adapters? Can't I just change the band out and put a new one in place of the existing one? By the way, I really like the Bullbar. I'm currently using the black one. I've seen protectors in the past that required removal to change the battery because they extended into the back cover. Yours stop just shy of the cover, which gives the added benefit of having the bar in contact with the table instead of the watch housing itself. I have another Casio, a HDA-600, with a guard on it that I would have to remove if I needed to replace the battery. Not that it's all that difficult to remove or anything, it's just an extra step. The only thing I would have liked different about your Bullbar is to have had it rest in the four notches that are in the housing, instead of outboard of them. I assume this is to make this one Bullbar fit more than just this one watch, something with the same dimensions, just with the notches spaced slightly further apart? Not a deal breaker for me, just curious. A question about this watch... What do the four tiny Phillips screws on the sides of the housing hold in place? Or are they just there? I've seen other watches where the screws are just dummies, and I started turning one to investigate, only to find out there were no threads and I had just broken whatever adhesive was used to hold it in, so I had to resort to using super glue to get it to stay in. The vapor attacked the surrounding plastic and made it white though. Fortunately, it was a cheap watch so no big catastrophe. Later on I think I'll go back through your eBay store and see if anything else catches my eye.

hey bud. it is woven nylon and so won't rot and won't have that sort of problem such as what happens with canvas. if you sweat and get it soiled, it will reflect that in sight and smell but the material is easily washable to address that and dries up quick.

I'm having issues with the stock strap which came with my 5600. I have recently purchased the bars from you (I'm in Cornwall, uk) an now interested in the Zulu strap you offer but need to know the length of strap. I seem to have large wrists and the buckle only just engages, leaving the strap kind of loose(side to side)and only just engaged in the retaining loop. Is the Zulu strap you offer as a two piece or one piece much longer and if so how much longer? I'd really appreciate your help... Thanks bud.

Hey Alvaro. The two piece won't. Whether or not on the 1 piece should depend on if your strap is more narrow than the adapters and how tightly/loosely you wear your strap.

My standard adapters will fit if you trim the adapter shoulder a bit. but the Convertibles for 5600 will fit without trimming required although their smaller form factor can be considered a little awkward looking on the big GX56. I will address this compatibility concern about the standard adapters in an upcoming release.
