Thank you for sharing this video!! I am having trouble finding the struts for my 2011 Buick Lacrosse CXS. The struts are similar to the Honda where the strut bottom slides into the suspension clamp.

Great vid the trick with the spark plug socket saved me. I was able to take the plastic retainers of the front of the cal and reach underneath to remove the top nuts.

Thanks!! Very helpful! I didn't have to surpress the springs, they came loaded. So it was a fairly easy job. I only had problems with the wipers, buuut, I didn't feel like, or want to fight with them, so I popped all the clips and raised it just enough to slide a small brick the plastic cover to hold it up. 🤣🤣 #ingenuity. But, HONESTLY, I found your page about a 6 months ago, and I've been using you for reference ever since!!! Keep it up! You guys are a GREAT help!!!

1A Auto you guys are the best!! I will buy my parts from you guys just as support for your wonderful videos!! However instead of putting a spark plug socket over the nut... you can just use some vise grips and clap it to the shaft part of the strut.. which will keep it from turning and then hold the vise grips while tightening the nut and problem solved.

I think it works best if the 8mm on the small steering attachment needs to be on loose. It almost acted like reverse thread because you are holding the 18 mm wrench still. I would mark up from down early on the spring just for ease of assembly. I used an impact to break the strut loose from the main strut nut in the top. I was able to do it without pulling the windshield wipers. Over all the video is helpful.

Great video! I need to replace the struts on the wifes Acadia along with a few bushings. We have a nasty shake/rattle in the front when driving.
