Well thank you for watching, it took around an hour and a half but the was with setting up the camera so should take you less than that.

Should you not be putting a tad of grease on when reinstalling some of these parts ?

Depends on how you feel about it tbh it's a personal preference, I tend to favour antisease but that's not recommend by manufacturer, its up to you really

I'd also be interested in seeing this! I'm struggling to find any videos that go into detail. I had particular trouble refitting the throttle cable/ needle etc. It was very fiddly! Air fuel setup would be really helpful 👍

@@stevehayes900 I just had a crack at mine... it’s pretty simple.. they key for mine was 2.5 turns out for both the idle and mix screws- then a tiny adjustment and runs so awesome now

@@peterauhl5010 Thanks for the tip! The float valve was buggered on mine so I decided to replace the whole carburettor. I also want to remove and clean the fuel tap before I reassemble it all but I'll try your advice when I do! 👍

Is this mechanically the same as a 1984 lt 50/quad runner

What size chain do they take it looks similar to a pit bike chain such as 420 or 428 going to change my lads that’s all

Its a 420 chain on thease quads but im not sure of the length sorry. I hope this helps.

@@Martysworkshop length I can do no problem just wasn’t sure if the inner link was the same I know the pitch from 415 to 428 are all the same but it’s about right that I’ve got a brand new 428 aswell 🤦🏻‍♂️ lol

Sorry for the bunch of questions but while checkimg my chain straightest tonight through the rear i noticed i can see my magneto spinning is that normal or is my case broke? Yours looks like mine in the video a opening in the case or broke?? 🤔🤔

No the magneto should be protected from warter and dirt, i actually have a new cover witch i was going to fit when i rebuild the engine, its funny i just looked at a few 2nd hand covers on ebay and most of them are damaged in the same place so this must be common, thank you for supporting the channel jesse and feel free to ask as many questions as you would like that is what i created this channel for.

@@Martysworkshop must be from iin falling off ? Its just the cover thats broke or the crankcase? Hard to tell without tearimg ir off

Its only a couple of screws to take it off i think it is just the cover but worth cheaking.
