What interval does Suzuki advise? The plugs that they are sold with must be quality to do a lot of Km's. My car has done 84,000km but i dont know if they have been done.
@DocMackGarage5 ай бұрын
@jjakes5589 Hi, being a small engine, I would say 80k to 100k. My suggestion is to replace it anyway as I don't only look at kms but age too. Please consider subscribing to my KZbin Channel for free if you haven't already to show your support.

How I can find the correct data about filling quantity of engine oil? It is about 1.2 L gasoline 91hp. In the user manual the factory stated 3.1L (including the filter). However the workshop claims 3.7L.
@DocMackGarage5 ай бұрын
I think it is 3.3L service fill and 3.6 dry fill as it includes the sump.. It is OK to under fill a little bit initially , but over filling is an issue. Please consider subscribing to my KZbin Channel for free if you haven't already to show your support. I would recommend confirming with Suzuki .

Cool thanks, these individual ignition coils are new to me. For interest, what's expected lifespan on the coil? (And as others said it would be great to see at least one of the plugs out but I get the idea👍)
@DocMackGarage Жыл бұрын
Hi Stu, original ignition coils can go even upto 100k miles or 160k km on OEM ones, but it can also fail over time as it gets hot. Spark plugs around 60k miles it is worth replacing and inspecting the coils then. Please consider subscribing to my KZbin channel for free if you haven't already. Yes I agree I should have pulled the plug out to show. The next time I get a swift in I will demo even more.

What’s the proper gap for the spark plug ???
@DocMackGarage11 ай бұрын
0.95mm to 1.05mm , but I would suggest getting pregapped ones.

The only remaining step is to unscrew the spark plug as I had taken the ignition coil out. If you are not sure how to unscrew a Spark plug I can help you.
