On the Civic sedan there is only the 4 nuts on the back in of the lens assembly. On the coupe I have to remove THE ENTIRE REAR BUMPER to get the lens off What the hell, Honda?!

one issue I had was the two Allen key screws on the top were stripped out from previous owner. I easily solved this issue by using a Dremel tool to cut slits in to the screw heads to make them into regular flat head screws. (then remove with a really big flathead screwdriver.) ALSO: The mudflap screws can be done using pliers or vice grips with a regular Philips head drill bit inside them if you want to avoid removing the wheels.

To me it seems that L Bracket does really nothing, since there are 3 bolts / mounting points on the inside of trunk. Thanx for sharing and showing me how to fix my leaky taillights

My only issue that i have is why tf do you gotta do all that just to change some bulbs? Smh🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

This is not necessary for a simple bulb change. This is instructions for replacing the show taillight assembly. Fur the bulbs, pull the carpet back to see bulb connectors, and change out accordingly.
