In this video I'm showing you how to easily remove the cover and replace the battery on the Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 laptop.
XPS 13 9360 battery: amzn.to/2VNdG4L
XPS 13 9365 2in1 battery: amzn.to/3ouVDfZ
XPS 13 2in1 9370 9380 battery: amzn.to/2VKEjr2
When replacing the battery, of course it’s batter to find an original battery, but if you have an old laptop and don’t want to spend that much, a good generic one will do the job. The one on the link last up to 6 hours, so it’s as good as the original one
First thing to do is disconnect the power. Then remove the back or bottom cover using a T6 Torx and Phillips screwdriver - remove the 8 t6 and 1 phillips underneath the XPS cover (where the service tag is located)
Once all screws are removed, you will need to open the cover by inserting a thin metal and pry it open. Now remove the 4 screws attaching the battery and then disconnect the cable that connects it to the motherboard. Get the new battery and put it in, connect the cable to motherboard and attach the screws.
Now put back the bottom cover, put some pressure and make sure it is firmly attached back to the laptop, put the screws back in, and you should be good to go.
