How much does this compressor cost? Mine went out and it costs $900 + $90 for taxes. Was this a reasonable price? It was very interesting watching your mechanical work. Thanks

@chriss4365 the mechanic said he got it from Toyota which has a year warranty. Are they higher priced from maker of car? Labor must have cost more than compressor?

Yes they are charging more, usually its 2x the cost of parts for labor.

You can only use the old R134A if you have a tank to collect it.
