I've done mine twice, there's a ton a tips I could say here, one is, hold the LCA up with the jack, it helps. I'll be doing my whole suspension again soon, I once started recording, but I was in a hurry. Great video 👍

One thing I have noticed missing on every video I have seen on replacing Ram 1500 lower control arm bushings is .... position of the hollow slots in the rubber. One slot is long, opposite is a short slot. This to me gives 4 different rotational positions to insert the bushing giving completely different handling of steering control of the truck from flexing of the bushing from torque.

That's what I do, just buy bushings, switch them out, change control arms, then when you're bored and have time, change the bushings and ball joints on the LCA's because the UCA's can't be replaced. That way when it's time to change the LCA's again, you'll have them ready.

what happens if you dont measure the ride height before starting taking everything off and how do you put it back on if you forgot to measure it

No problem , just go underneath and loosen the bolts to relieve bushing tension and retighten. If hard to slide underneath , getting the vehicle on 4 ramps will also work. Thanks for watching.

I’m doing a rebuild on my ram which front end suspension parts should I replace and which one should I leave alone I’m just trying to update the parts to grease fittings my ram is a 08 2wd

I would honestly replace most of it. Tie rods , ball joints , upper control arms , shocks. I like to try and get as much as possible out of the way. An alignment will be in order as well. My truck drives as straight as arrow and smooth still 230k. These are pretty good trucks with just a little maintenance. Thanks for the feedback.

Not criticizing but you are trying to force vibration through a dampener it dampens the vibrations. You need to use your dead blow on the control arm itself with gentle strikes.
