Thank you. Did you have to drill that snapped bolt out? Appreciate if you could do a video for replacing an inner cv boot on one of these driveshafts.

All I did was knock the bolt out. Its just a pressed fit. Will do a inner cv boot when a car comes in for one. Basically you could do it the same way, take outer joint off then take inner one off. Or take drive shaft off

How long did it take. I have been quoted £80 for one side. Is this ok.

No you don't I have never done an alignment after CV boot Replacement. After wishbone, track rod end, inner Rack end, steering rack etc YES

Agree with you on that they are Rubbish. But if the joint doesn't come off then I think you just have to use one
