When I tried to start the snow blower with the switch it was dead. At first I thought it was the starter or a wiring problem. I noticed there was no clicking or resistance when depressing the button. Once the switch housing was removed the next challenge was to take it apart to get to the switch. Since it was plastic I wasn’t to worried if I had to destroy the outer plastic shell as I could figure out a way to fix it. As it turned out I could separate the two halves and replace the switch. This repair was definitely worth it. Looking at the starter they are well made robust units. The key is not to over heat them with long crank times. Overheating melts the protective varnish on the copper windings inside the motor. This was a fairly easy repair. I hope you enjoy the video. Thanks for watching.
