Good how to video, however, this is NOT what is on the front of my 00 Dakota. Totally different setup. Mine does not have the bracket style calipers.

Yeah they didn't offer this setup until 2003, the video title is incorrect.

Use silicone paste grease or the rubber sleeve on those slide pin will swell up. Making them not slide smoothly.

FYI, those dual piston calipers weren't available on the Durango until 2003. I'm sure it's the same case with the Dakota, and I believe the Durango has a little bit larger caliper and bracket.

I'm a little confused. at 2:33 the old pad retaining clips were removed and shiny new ones were put on. but at 2:41 they are gone and then reappear again. Do the clips go on after the guide pins are cleaned and lubricated? or does it not really matter? Sorry. I don't want to mess up and need very specific instructions. thank you.

does not matter. The pads in this vid were good so I guess they just replaced them to make this video.
