How to replace the left rear abs speed sensor on a 2013 Volkswagen Passat vw code 00290

 all you need is a jack a Allen key and a 17 mm to remove your Lugnuts and you can replace your rear ABS sensor. Mine was stuck in a little so I used a pair of needle nose pliers to pull it out. Spray some penetrating oil and keep wiggling it. a pair of vice grips, pull hard.

I think you can get in there without taking off the tire but it’s much easier if you remove it so that when it doesn’t come out easily, you can wiggle it out

A good scanner tells you which one is not working. They are cheap so just buy them all if you don’t have a scanner. The hardest part is to get it well lubricated with a penetrating oil so it comes out easily. You don’t want to break it ;)
