Why we need to touch the tires or wheels ???or loose lugnuts
@jimkelly42864 жыл бұрын
This video does not apply to CRV at all. Bank 1 O2 sensor is not on the exhaust manifold under the hood. Neither sensor is on the catalytic convertor. Bank 2 O2 sensor wire harness is concealed past a rubber grommet. FYI. Why was the wheel lock nuts loosened?

@@mikestevenson1318 The 97-01 CRV has the 02 sensor behind the under the car, and don't make my mistake which I also saw on another video of trying to undo it using the wrong tab. real connector tab to disconnect isabove it. Look at a new one and you will see which tab to press.

@@mikestevenson1318 The connector is inside the car. Remove the rubber plug, then the connector will come up. Also, use the long, socket type O2 sensor removal tool to reach the sensor on the catalytic converter. This will make the job much easier. Good luck.

Doesn't apply to first gen CR-V. I'd like to say how to remove the CR-V's O2 sensor, but I don't know. That's why I'm here Edit: I found out where it is. On the 2000 CRV there is a little rubber plug thing that the O2 sensor wires go through. It is above the catalytic converter. If there is one on the manifold I didn’t see it, but I also wasn’t looking. Pop the rubber bit out and you can pull out the clip that connects the sensor to the harness. My sensor was stuck in the exhaust, but I wasn’t replacing it. If I worded this poorly please leave a comment, and I’ll try to help out
