Very cool and descriptive video. I had reordered the frame to include the circuit strip but you have found a nice way to remove and replace. All was fairly easy to re-assemble the parts. I didn't even need to finish watching the video to replace the screen. It's good to have instructions like this video so people don't second guess themselves.

The video was so detailed, and this was the easiest repair or build I've ever done. The only change I made was used a hair dryer on low heat to loosen the adhesive on the cables. I thought I needed a new phone right away when my screen broke suddenly, but now I can wait for next year's models to come out. So happy! I watched three times with the ads because I wanted him to get something back from this!

iSmart August 29 ,2021 When Shooting my Skate/Dance videos for my KZbin channel ATL Skateman in 90 degree weather outdoors I damaged my LCD Touch Digitizer Screen on my LG K20 plus. With your video and instructions on "How to replace the screen on LG K20 model MP260" I was for the 1st time working on a cell phone. That said; I was able to repair it and now September 22,2021 I am now able to get back to shooting more of my Skate/Dance to upload to my 15 videos that are able to be viewed by the entire Family Thanks for all of your help! 😎 I Dance on the Skate Floor and Skate on the Dance Floor ,because the world is my skating Rink! This was very good. I just wish that you had continually kept the top of the phone in view; I was not able to see exactly what you did with the earpiece. Is it permissible to use dollar store tweezers or do you need specialty tweezers like the ones shown in the video? Also can the guitar pick replace some of the other tools that are used to pry apart the frame and motherboard? Thank you.

Great job and Comprehensive explanation! I fixed exactly the same phone but got issues after repair. I couldn’t charge the phone and shut down itself. When I plugged it in, it shows Charging Stopped Device temperature too high or low. Please move to another place to charge. Any idea please? Thank you

There's a small flex cable on the frame underneath the speaker, I think the 2 prongs on the speaker not matching perfectly with the 2 golden dots on the cable.

Great content! I followed everything to the letter and replaced my screen and LCD on my K30. It powers on (vibrates) but I do not see any image on the screen. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.

Disconnect and reconnect the screen perfectly. Make sure you transfer the tape that covers the lcd cable to the new one. Good luck

@@iSmart1 I was mistaken. The screen illuminates, but it is VERY faint. I could only see it in a darkened room. I tried adjusting the brightness to 100% but still no change. I'm fairly certain that I did transfer the tape (long and thin orange in color) which covers the LCD cable. Any ideas would be appreciated.
