Why you do not lube seals inside with a grease? Dry seals have huge friction.

when you put the foam rings into the low leg, They already contain a lot of lubricating oil, which will be lubricated to the installation position

@@ezmtb yep, but seals have 2 edged: one to prevent oil leak and another to prevent get dirt in lowers and between two edged there is a space which can be dry and bring huge friction so the answer is would you recommend to lube space between 2 edges? also this can help to catch dirt and hold it in seal where it can be easily removed on fork service

@@Lezz015 Yes, you are right. We often see that some brands of seals will apply grease between the upper and lower sealing edge, which is good for assembly, but it is only limited to assembly lubrication. It will not provide continuous lubrication for the work of the fork, because most of the grease will squeeze out of the seal with the movement of the fork (the seal of the J style sealing edge is unidirectional) last of the grease will adhere to the seal rather than the upper tubes. If there are conditions, it is a good choice to apply grease, but if not, it will not bring any negative effects to the front fork. The gap between them will always maintain an oil film, which benefits from the use of our new seal materials. You will find that the upper tubes will always maintain a very thin lubricating oil film.
