Olá sou do Brasil o meu fusion e um 17 e 18 está peça no meu carro está dando fuga de corrente ou seja se meu carro ficar 2 dias parado fica sem bateria vou trocar por um usado porque novo na Ford está muito alto o preço, porém a pergunta é posso ter algum problema com o usado no meu carro

Hey, I just got my 2017 fusion, in the past day, I am unable to move my shifter. The light is flashing P on parking and the rotary shifter won’t budge. I tried the center console trick where u stick the key into the little hole, but that doesn’t work. I’m unable to put the car in reverse, drive, neutral, anything. Do you think I’d have to change this part ? The rotary shifter

The car also stated “shift system fault service required”, and “see Manuel” right before this happened.

It could be the gear shifter module that would be the rotary dial that would need replaced

Yeah, I got my pops to go into the engine bay and manually change the transmission from parking to drive, etc, and the rotary shift still flashes on P and the emergency break stays on constantly. The shifter worked perfectly fine before this, switched smoothly and all. Is it more of a wiring issue?

I think you’re right, just dismantled everything and it seems to only be the dial causing issues. Do you think that if I buy one from eBay that it’ll fix the issue? Or should I bring it in to the ford dealership and let them have there way.

Thank you Sir. My 2017 Fusion is very slow to pick up the reverse gear especially when reversing up the hill. Some times it doesn't go at all. My guess is that the problem could be this part.

Hello Nick I have the code problem which is Auxiliary Transmission Fluid Pump Control Module Feedback Signal Range/Performance. I just wanted to make sure is it the pump itself needed to get replaced or the wiring for it that needs to be checked or replaced. Much appreciated in advance

Great video, once replaced, did you need to sync anything or follow any procedure? I replaced mine with a used one, set the car to park before placing it manually and installed it. The device seemed to move but got stuck and now it doesn’t seem to turn at all. Should you plug it in before connecting the cable piece to ensure the system is set to park? Thanks

Yes you should cycle it befor putting on the cable

@@Nickthecarguy To clarify, if the car is in park, plug in the used transmission module without screwing in the cable that connects to the transmission. Turn on the car and then press park. The module should move/turn to park. Then I can connect the cable metal piece to ensure they are both set? Just want to ensure it’s not something else since my original one and new one are now doing the same thing. Connected but doesn’t cycle even when I have it disconnected and press a button to switch gears. Originally cable bushing broke, and when adjusting I unscrewed the cable placement. Then when the cable bushing was fixed, I connected the cable to the actuator it didn’t work right. My concern is the actuator was stuck in drive, neutral, reverse while the car was set to park. I know the actuator has those metal pieces to ensure it doesn’t over extend but it wonder if something internal got damaged.

Do you hear it engage when you put it in gear I know the 13-16 have recall for the shifter linkage

@@Nickthecarguy like if i take one of the fuses that shut the car off out an put it back in the car shifts but its like its loses pressure an revs
