This video shows you how to install a new, engineered to fit TRQ throttle body on your 2006-2013 Chevrolet Impala. Rough idle, poor performance, and a check engine light are all signs of throttle body problems. If a thorough cleaning didn’t resolve the issues, you may need to replace the assembly.

Would I need a scan tool to relearn the throttle body or should I just drive it around for about 30 minutes?

If you unhooked the battery then the ECU will relearn everything automatically when you go to start it after replacing

Was this a troll tactic? to get people like me to leave a comment like the one you're reading right now. Good One HAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA If you do feel the need to remove that bracket, at least remove it as step one so that it isn't in the way of removing the battery terminals. Completely unnecessary, may as well jack up the car and remove the rear wheels.
