Good video & thank you. Was getting bad wear on outer drive tires like yours. Yes bushings looked worn. Truck is a 2019 KW T-680 midroof sleeper w a MX-13 too. Bought aftermarket replacement from Kenworth dealer. They cost $184.65 ea. Brand is ATRO part# TR75-41610 they are much thicker then OEM too!
@dentrizzle Жыл бұрын
You got them for a good price. I spent like $700 or a little higher for both being OEM because they are currently on back order so they hike up the price a bit and I couldn’t even get aftermarket either 😅. I appreciate you watching the video and also your comment. Someone could use that part number you provided to get better prices.

I always enjoy your videos. You lay out the symptoms, cause and work to be done, with the tools needed. My inner drive tires are wearing the same way and a mechanic was telling me showed me how both torque rods are becoming worn. My T680 has 530K miles so it's to be expected. Now I know how easy it will be to R/R them just like you showed us with your NOX sensor replacement and air bag replacement video, which I was able to do and saved $$$$!. Your work is greatly appreciated by this new O/O. Thank you and please keep posting when you can. All the best and be safe driver!

Honestly I’ve read this about 5 times and I truly appreciate it. I always tell myself these videos won’t make any impact but clearly they do. Imma continue do what I can cuz I’m a driver as well and I try to make the videos how I would watch them. As you say the symptoms, why I’m doing this, the tools, procedures, recommendations etc. Thank you for watching and commenting cuz it means a lot to me but until then JUST KEEP TRUCKING!!! ✌️

I’m having weird tire pattern as well. Does this fix the issue and also should you go OEM or aftermarket since OEM are almost twice the money?
@dentrizzle6 ай бұрын
A few things can cause tires to wear in a weird pattern and it’s hard to explain it but that torque rod bushing was bad hence my tires were wearing out unevenly. As regards to OEM or Aftermarket, that is entirely up to your budget. There’s a link in the comments for aftermarket where a subscriber posted. Hope this helps

make sure air bags are inflated when you install the new torque arm. I've had issues in the past where the bags deflated by the time I tried to put the new rod in there and the bolts wouldn't line up. took me a while to figure out the problem.
