Hi, i got a swollen battery that wont charge ect BUT also the touch is playing up. Can bad battery ever effect touch? or do i have a bad M/b too? I could jump power to the connector and try with nominal voltage but every time other ipad i have worked on when touch stops or is trouble, m/b chips ect are too blame. Ask what you think?

The swollen battery adds adds pressure that shouldn't be there. Just changing the battery may fix touch. Double check before you adhesive close

Hello. Tell me what could be the problem. The ipad 6 wi-fi started to reboot from scratch. The apple catches fire and goes out. I tried a hard reboot, it didn't help. The computer sees the dfu mode, but when trying to restore, error 4••• appears. I'm inclined to believe that the battery died, the iPad is about 5 years old. A friend of mine had the same problem on an iPhone 6, the phone started to randomly restart and not go into the menu. I changed the battery and everything worked.

Because the LCD screen and digitiser glass panel of the iPad 6th generation is not laminated, it’s not recommended to do DIY to replace the battery, there are big chances of getting tiny bits of dusts or fluffs inside the screen and made it look like dead pixels. … iPad Air 2 has laminated screens, that means the digitiser and the LCD screen are in one piece after taking the iPad apart, so unlike the iPad 6th generation as seen in this video. Over a year ago I kept it in mind not to buy repaired iPad 6th generation, but this year ended up buying one used, and the seller had replaced the screen, it has 4 tiny bits inside the screen!

Hi! You should have mentioned the LCD connectors at the beginning. Since i did not know and the screen was mounted very hard, i did not notice that i have cut them through. :-(

If you don’t the battery can stick up. The battery will press against the inside of the screen. This will cause white spots in your screen.

Why go through all that trouble removing the adhesive to the backplate when you're just going to reapply some more adhesive. It doesn't hurt anything staying there. Just leave it, save time effort and energy.
