And one second, I don't think one can call these journalists vultures, because very few are doing proper reports. And if you see all the videos, lot of ground reporting has been done from Maharashtra as well. And if data doesn't show you the actual numbers, you need to go to cremation grounds. Other countries have also shown burial grounds. I have seen pictures of burial grounds from France Italy USA almost daily last year when the numbers were on going through the roof there. And they don't do it without taking permission from families. And the families want the covid deaths to be reported which goes uncounted in official statistics.

Nehru used it as to convince people and interconnected it with our traditions or history. for instance, panchasheel agreement by nehru, there was no practical use of panchsheel although nehru used grand narrative and convinced people for it and how useful it was , he did it cause he followed idealism theory. I believe that every leader use grand narrative, not only nehru, to convince people. BJP too use grand narrative for its propaganda, Modi connected every aspect of his belief with Indian history, traditions, nationalism, hindusim etc. and this what made people to believe him without any questions. grand narrative is neither dangerous nor safe. It is very subjective, it depends on the leader using it. As of nehru used it for peace, strong international relations of India, unity and liberty. But Modi is using it to establish fascism, remove secularism, bring India as a Hindu Nation and against a specific community. So you should not connect it only with nehruvian liberal ideology cause his ideology although very idealistic but was essential for peace and safe co existence, so here grand narrative was not dangerous.

9:31 Feel so sorry for the sufferings of those "ordinary" Mumbaikars. We had it easy though, just 14-15 hrs of no electricity, Wi-Fi, mobile signal & data connection. But I'm glad the lady with the full-time servant found someone to hold her umbrella so she could hold her mobile to record herself trying to park her car somewhere safe, sad without her cable she couldn't get outside news on her mobile either I can relate to that somewhat I suppose. Also glad that the guy in the high tower whose friend owns a gym where he could've been stuck during the storm as it was difficult to walk for him even just a few blocks in that wind & luckily his double glazed windows didn't shatter due to those wild winds.
