Bromeliads are striking plants for the home, and though many varieties are sold at the height of their maturity (meaning, while they are in bloom), they can exist and survive for years afterwards. Bromeliads, like the related Tillandsia (or air plants), actually begin to produce pups, or offsets, at their bases after they finish blooming. Once that happens, you have the option of removing the pups or removing the "mother" plant. This video covers that process! #sponsored
