You showed us two ways of generating a security certificate for IIS: Generate a domain certificate and create a CSR. Is one way generally more preferred or better than the other? Obviously, there are a lot more steps involved in creating a CSR....is there an advantage to doing it this way over just generating a domain cert?

Very good video on SSL certificate, Not sure why people criticize your English accent and annoying you. Are they language teacher ?? Chrome says that my encryption algo is to weak and gives error after entering to rdweb site, is there a way to make sha256 2048 cert if subordinate server has sha1 , Which is weak for Chrome?

Common name represent the server name which is protected by SSL. For example, you can specify the name which you want to use for the website.
