the oil was just changed so i tried this on my 2005 jeep liberty without using the break. we'll see if it works but this is the closest info i could find regarding this issue. thanks!

Nice ! Moms car fixed ! This step is very similar to resting the TPMS sensors from any new ford you gotta step on the brake like such many times !

+Elizabeth Sanchez check all your tires and make sure that they are filled up to what is recommended (it will say on the wall of the tire, usually between 35-50psi). Fill 'em up and drive around. Sometimes you have to drive above 30mph for a short while before the light goes away.

For future reference. Do not fill the tires based off of what the side wall says, that will be incorrect for your vehicle. Instead inflate the tires to the pressure on the driver door jam. Usually a yellow and white sticker. Good luck.

In case anyone is like me and does oil changes every 5k miles and the oil change light doesn’t come on before the oil change, if you do this procedure you will see the engine light flashing meaning it reset!
