So many other youtubers were making a mistake by not explaining it properly. They were asking to hold volume down and power button to switch off and then only hold volume down button to get to recovery mode which was not helping. Following your video i kept the power off and voume down buttons pressed until it entered recovery mode. thank you

If iTunes is slow to extract software for restore could that be just my PC being slow or could there be another reason? I have a disabled iphone and I get to where it extracts software but it takes so long the phone exits recovery mode and the phone screen disappears. Even if I can get it back to recovery it gives me an error message at the end that iphone cannot be found with no option to try to find phone again. Just has an Okay button and a more info button that does not work. I have latest version of ITunes.
