This is so bizarre. I have had a use 610 dell server. I was planning to update idrac, bios or whatever to enable vnc , and you started sharing these videos. I will watch them to get some idea. Thanks

I think the x30 series, or whatever is compatible with the Xeon E5-2600 V4 series of CPUs, is required if you want to run ESXi 8. So r630, 730, 730xd. These might come cheap with an E5-2600 V3 CPU but will probably have the socket that supports the V4 which are better supported for ESXi 8. That said, I think support for even those will diminish as later releases of 8 come out so you'd probably get the unsupported warning eventually anyway.

I am using Dell r730 , did all you have suggested here but having trouble in accessing vitual console through iDrac, it says some Java needs to be installed, I installed but still not able to access virtual console. Can you pls assist. Thanks in advance.

In iDRAC , on the left navigate to Server > Virtual Console and for “Plug-in type” use the drop menu and change the type from Java to HTML-5.
