How to reset Timing Belt light (T-BELT) Toyota Hilux Toyota Hiace 2005-2014

Quick and easy guide on how to reset the T-BELT light which comes on to indicate that your timing belt is due to be replaced.
Also to make it come on sooner, which our replacement belt reccomended to be changed at 100,000kms.

it works on every Toyota I think. Worked on Regius 1999, Hiace 2016. I just try it each time and it works.

Excellent work mate worked a treat now another one for ya traction control one permanently lit and one on right with car and skids is flashing it happened when I went in a big wet hole I can’t see anything wrong with sensors any ideas

hey mate you may have triggered a fault with the abs sensor on the wheel hub once you hit that pot hole, best of getting it looked at to make sure its nothing dangerous

Hi sounds like your fuel filter has water inside it! Try replacing the filter and emptying out all fuel/water, also give housing a good clean! Should do the trick See how you do

if airbag light is up, means your air bag no longer working in the steering wheel which mean there is a fault. usually can clear with the scanner gauge but fault will come back untill air bag problem is fixed

Hi @primaylon jr Once the car starts to get a little older we like to reset timing belt light reminder on at 100,000kms, hence why we put number 10. If you still like doing timing belt every 150,000km , you can set it on number 15. Personal preference

@Joel Wily Hi mate we are in Sydney, NSW Timing belt done every 150,000kms Or if vehicle does excessive idling we recommend every 100,000kms. Regardless yours should have been done at 150,000kms check your service history to see if it has been done!
