KASA says to reset it in the app, so how do you reset it in the app? doing the reset on the plug does nothing. The plug still turns on the light anyway at odd times.

Take your tp link mini plug out of your house in order to detach from internet first. The. Go back and connect to your internet reset plug blinking. And type in internet and password.

Mine doesn’t even turn on, must be broken. Doesn’t even reset nothing happens. There is power on the outlets. Tried several outlets smart plug not working!!!

I have the same problem with the one plug. It's greyed out and keeps saying out of range!

That didn't help, it says out of range. It won't let me reset it, because it's greyed out!

Of course it did. You need to re-add it to the app just like setting up a new plug

If you tried everything you can, return it. Possible you got a dud.
