Hello, I set my plugs up and programmed the on and off times, but neither function worked. It for my China hutch. I set it for every day of the week to turn on at 9am and off at 8pm but nothing happened. I do have a good connection and my plugs are showing the blue color. Any recomendations? Thank you..

@@Hero4lyfe Unfortunately there is no easy way to control them from a computer. There is a trick you can use though which involves installing the app on your PC. I plan on having a tutorial for this in the future.

When you turn off the lamp using the phone, can you turn it back on using the switch on the lamp or can you only do it by pressing the power button on the plug? I want to be able to turn off my family member's TV after she falls asleep but I want her to be able to turn it back on with the tv remote so she doesn't figure out how her tv us turning off and remove it.

Glad the video helped you! Some smart devices require a central hub to be controlled. For example, some smart light bulbs will requires a central device that controls all similar smart light bulbs. The smart plug displayed in this video does not require a hub.

Yes you can. As long as the plug is connected to wifi and your phone or device has an internet connection, you can turn it on and off.

You are correct that they do not work with hubs. Most modern routers should not have any issues working with several of these devices as they do not use much bandwidth.

All my stuff works well on the home network. I have internet and wifi working fine. Both 2.4 and 5.0 are working fine. "Add a device" doesn't work. When on the Add a Smart Plug page, I press Smart Plug/Lite, all I get is a message that says "No Internet .. Make sure that your router is functioning properly and that you have a strong signal" and a green RESCAN button that doesn't do anything.

I had 5 of these plugs and they worked great until I changed my wi-fi network to a different provider, can not hook up with my new router.Seems the plug will not forget the old hook up codes, there is no reset button anywhere to erase what's in it memory.
