How to reset TPMS on a Ford F250

This video is a how-to on resetting your TPMS system on a Ford F250. I recently had a valve stem on one of my tires go bad and after having it replaced the dreaded TPMS warning icon remained and I couldn't remember how to reset it! After doing a little research this is what I discovered and now that I have made a KZbin video on the subject I'm sure that I will never forget how to do this again! Did this and it worked great. Refilled all tires to 65 psi as per the door sticker and all was good. The fault returned an hour later.

So what ended up being your issue? Was it a sensor dying? I would think if a sensor went dead the vehicle wouldn't have relearned all 4 tires but i guess if the batteries still had a little juice left in them it could cause the tpms to trip intermittently?

I just bought temporary tires for my super duty that max inflation is 45lbs obviously this causes the truck to think I have low air pressure. Will doing this and setting the PSI to 45 in each tire allow the truck to not think I have low air pressure? It's only temporary and will be going back to the larger tires for the truck with atleast 65psi.

I have a 13 F250 when I let the air out of the first tire the truck will never honk and eventually says “tire not trained restart” does this mean that this sensor is dead and needs replaced?

Question for yoy guys I just sold my customer a 2017 F250 Lariat 6.7L diesel..its been lifted with 35x12.5 they are RADAR M/T on it..they hold 65 max PSI my question is the tire pressure monitor orange light is on the exclamation point and everytime u first get in a service warning light will come ALSO.......is there any trick to getting THESE SERVICE WARNING AND THE EXCLAMATION off ..2 places told me even if we put new sensors in the tires the lights would still be on .. its really just more of a annoyance to my customer just seeing them on everytime he gets in his dope ass truck ...hit me with some Macgyver shit boys butt he ain't trying to take the bulbs out of them either

You left out the most important step to be completed after resetting the TPMS, which can be found in the owners manual. Step 11. Set all four tires to the recommended air pressure as indicated on the Safety Compliance Certification Label (affixed to either the door hinge pillar, door-latch post, or the door edge that meets the door-latch post, next to the driver's seating position) or Tire Label located on the B-Pillar or the edge of the driver's door.
