How to reset/wipe any passcode locked HTC ONE M8

This video shows you how to remove any pattern or passcode lock on your HTC ONE M8. There are two methods, one with fastboot on and one with fastboot off, which is a setting on the phone which is enabled as standard. So it's best to try method 1 if you're not sure which applies.

Why won't the factory reset mode show along with the bootloader mode and downloader mode when I do this and get to the menu after i power off and press volume down and power on until the hard menu appears, the factory reset option is not in the menu if you understand what I mean,isn't there another way of getting the factory reset modena appear?and by the the way I am locked out of the phone with a forgotten pattern

I have a htc one and when am locked out with forhotten pin but when I get into the menu after press power and volume down there's no factory reset menu, it only shows boot mode, downloader mode, power down and other menu options that ate irrelavent to the factory reset of the phone , I would like to know how to get the menu on with the factory reset option along with the bootloader and downloader mode please as it shows all bit factory reset when I press power and volume down and get to the hard menu options

Does it work on a htc pattern and the pattern lines invisible and it is optional in the settings in the security and somthing weird happen if I got the pattern set up I have to set it up and confirm it so it is lock and then s really happen so I hope it happens cause these trick are surly fack and you surly have to connect them to unlock it

Nope unless you have a Decrypt software which is illegal and costs more than a BMW Lol just go to the store tell them you need it unlocked, for a price of course. Better than loosing the info and phone.
