Thank you, I was able to reset my HTC ( Im not even sure which model maybe A9 ) Desire. But I was able to reset my phone because I forgot my pin pattern. The guy at the cell phone fix it shop wanted $40 to reset the phone! You saved me time and money, thank you again!

It's the SIM card PIN. It supposed to be on the SIM card package. If you do not have it, call your service provider. They will provide you the SIM PIN.
