I'm so glad I found this video. Just now was the 4th time in 4 months my screen went blank except for a tiny horizontal line. Before this I was pulling out a fuse and putting it back in. To fix my problem all I had to do was your first step, turn the car to run without starting it. After a few seconds poof all fixed.

Will this reset help calibrate my navigation in my 2018 Durango SRT? I had the lousy uconnect screen replaced just yesterday with an aftermarket version from the good people at cuescreens because of that chronic delamination "ghost-touching" problem having my vehicle act like Mephistopheles was riding with me. Now, the cardinal directions are all wrong. I head north, the navigation will show south and so on. Cheers, brother.

Did it work??? You didn't show us that it actually worked. I disconnected my battery to reset Nav and all it did was erase SXM from the radio completely. My UConnect radio doesnt even show that it has SXM anymore. Do you have any suggestions. Please Help.

@randyt1973 it works for certain UCONNECT issues, but definitely doesn't fix all issues. There might be a recall for your system like I had, so they ended up replacing the unit

Nobody there could get it to work and so finally after about 25 visits and 50 calls into Ram they ordered a new media hub and replaced it. So far it has worked the last couple weeks. If I get in one of these days and it doesn’t work again I’m punching a hole through the radio.

If mine keeps messing up imma just get aftermarket or just be done with mopar all together. My jeep Uconnect hasn’t had a problem it’s my damn charger. I get tired of it more and more everyday. It’s one of the buggiest systems I’ve seen.

Soft reset doesn't always work. My 8.4 Uconnect 2018 has frozen again. The screen stays on and frozen even when the truck has been turned off for 20 minutes. Any suggestions?

I can’t play no music threw blue tooth or usb on Uconnect,...( idk the version of uconnect I have but the car is brand new) and when I try the press the right top corner method, it doesn’t work, also when I try the volume knob and tune knob at the same time it doesn’t work what do I do next,... kill all power to the car by removing battery terminals????
